Tongue discolouration- black patches

2025-01-14 05:54:44
From having a black spot on my tongue since childhood, now I'm seeing that convert into black patches of significant size mainly on the front part of my tongue. No other symptoms associated with it. What could be the reason for it?

Hi! It looks like pigmented fungiform papillae. It is completely natural and harmless. There are few articles about cosmetic procedures nowadays which can treat this condition (Q switched ruby laser).
