Fordyce granules are small, white or yellowish bumps that can appear on the inside of the cheeks, lips, or other areas of the mouth. They are a variation of sebaceous glands and are typically harmless. While they may be aesthetically bothersome for some individuals, they generally do not require treatment unless they cause discomfort or other complications.
Kenacort gel, which contains the corticosteroid triamcinolone acetonide, is sometimes prescribed to help reduce inflammation and symptoms associated with Fordyce granules. However, it's important to follow your MDS doctor's instructions and only use the medication as prescribed.
If you have concerns about the white bumps inside your left cheek or if you experience any changes in size, color, or symptoms, it's always best to consult with your MDS doctor
