If you have no pain or discomfort then filling will be possible
Next Steps
better to visit a nearby dentist and get an Xray done if there is any discomfort. Endodontist will be the best person to help you with RCT
Health Tips
Do not delay otherwise the cavity may become deep and end up in a root canal

You have to visit a dentist for this he/she might have to take an X-RAY for the involved tooth , if the decay is very little then it can be filled but if its deep then RCT have to be done followed by capping.

hello, you need to visit a dentist and get it checked. get an x-ray done. if there is a cavity, you need to get it filled. if there is infection to the roots of the tooth, you need to get it treated.

A hole in tooth is not an indication of rct..if that hole extends into pulp where there are nerves and blood vessels,u may need one...its always best to get all cavities filled before it deepens...there is not absolute way to prevent a progressing cavity at home
Next Steps
visit a dentist

If there is a small hole in the molar teeth it can be filled with composite a tooth colour material or by silver filling and I think rct is not required

Hello Sir, Greetings for the day. It's very difficult to decide whether a filling or a Root Canal is required on the basis the above history.
Next Steps
Please visit a dentist and get a localised X ray of that area. Aftr seeing that the dentist would confirm the treatment.
Health Tips
Do not consume anything hot/ cold and Sweet/ Sour it might cause dis-comfort.

If pain is not there simple filling would do. Rct is done if pain is there because of nerve involvement as determined by an xray. Visit your dentist at the earliest. Remember stitch in time saves nine.

Hi,The hole in tooth or cavity if deep will go for root canal treatment which can be decided after x ray.If the cavity is superficial a filling is sufficient.

Hole in the teeth is indicative of requirement of RCT for the tooth. Though it can only be confirmed only by x-ray.
