Stomach ulcer

2021-12-20 12:02:12
So most likely i am going through a stomach ulcer which was causing issues like nausea and stomach gnawing since weeks. I was prescribed sompraz d twice a day and providac twice a day. After 5 days, 95% of my symptoms have gone and sometimes i get gassy feeling in my gut, and nausea has reduced 98%. So will this heal automatically or i need to continue with medicines? And also i have observed when i workout in gym, my stomach aches like gassy feeling, does exercise aggravates the condition? Please guide me.

You should continue with the medication as prescribed for atleast 2 to 3 weeks. Ulcers may take upto a month to get healed. You should avoid oily and spicy food and drink plenty of water throughout the day. You can keep working out but avoid pre-workout. And consult if you dont see improvement in the next week as it could indicate H Pylori infection.

No exercise won’t aggravate the problem It can cause the gas to be passed out more which is probably why you are noticing it Just continue with treatment plan
