Sports- pain between elbow to shoulder

I play badminton everyday. Once playing i took my hand overhead and i felt a little jerk or twist at my shoulder. It started paining little below shoulder. I did ice pack and was better a week after. And i felt the same jerk while playing after a week. Is there anything serious about it.I feel little pain little down the shoulder above the elbow when i lift my hand and make some actions. Please help.

There was s definitely an injury to rotator cuff.. To know the extent of tissue damage MRI is best investigation available.

It Seems to Be Ligament Injury or Nerve Impingement .. A Video Examination is Required to Diagnose the Actual Cause. Check for The ROM & Exact Area of Pain. Till Than Apply Ice Pack for 15 Minutes Twice Daily. Try to Do Some Shoulder Exercises in Full Range of Motion Twice Daily. Avoid Jerks as it May Increase the Internal Injury.

Apply ice pack and give rest to your shoulder... Visit to ur nearest Physiotherapy Clinic for accurate diagnosis..

Ice application thrice a day Gentle shoulder range of motion exercises Gentle Elbow flexion and Extension exercises If the problem still persists better to consult a physiotherapist

It could be a rotator cuff (shoulder muscle) impingement. It needs shoulder mobilization and icing (15 minutes) 3 times a day. Make a Physiotherapy appointment for  mobilization Dr Jacob Roshan Mathew Physiowise, HRBR layout 1st block Australian qualified and experienced Musculoskeletal and Sports Physiotherapist

Possible it could be a muscle sprain or something to do with shoulder stability , it’s mandatory to meet an Physiotherapist. They would help you with a screening and work with the strength of the muscle around the joint. So that you can retrieve back to sport

Need to check what is the problem. If you are feeling jerk then there must be something wrong. For pain you start applying ice pack three times a day 10 min-15min. Please visit the nearest physiotherapy clinic for proper diagnosis and treatment.
