Should I continue b12 tablet

2026-05-28 11:25:17
Hello I got my full body checkup done my b12 was 200. I have symptoms like dizziness and constant tiredness/weakness. I was prescribed neurobion forte for 15 days. I did take it. I feel little better but my constant fatigue is not gone yet. Should I continue taking neurobion forte or just diet changes can increase b12? (My vitamin d was 65 and haemoglobin was 11.6 , calcium was 8.3)

Your fatigue is understandable — you have a combination of low B12, low haemoglobin (mild anaemia), and very low Vitamin D, all of which together cause persistent tiredness, dizziness, and weakness. Fifteen days of Neurobion Forte is usually not enough to fully correct B12 deficiency, and your Vitamin D at 65 (if in ng/mL) is deficient and needs separate supplementation. Diet changes alone are generally not sufficient to correct these levels quickly.
Next Steps
Please consult me directly on Practo for a detailed evaluation — I can review your reports and guide you on the right dosage and duration of supplements needed.

A Vitamin B12 level of 200 is on the lower side and can contribute to fatigue, weakness, and dizziness. Since your symptoms are still present, 15 days of treatment may not be enough.
Next Steps
• Continue follow-up with your doctor regarding B12 supplementation. • Include B12-rich foods such as milk, eggs, fish, and meat if suitable for your diet. • Recheck B12 levels after treatment as advised. • If fatigue or dizziness persists, consult a General Physician for further evaluation.
