The complaint seems to be mostly of gerd, endoscopy should be done and there is no harm in getting ecg done as well.

You need to repeat the ECG to rule out cardiac disorders, even if you have done ECG previously. The description of your symptoms point to gastro related or muscular. However any type of chest pain can't be ignored.

Your symptoms suggest a combination of gastrointestinal and possible musculoskeletal or referred pain issues, but chest discomfort should always be taken seriously. Below are possible causes and recommendations: Possible Causes: 1. Gastroesophageal Reflux Disease (GERD): The bloating, heaviness, and chest discomfort after eating might indicate acid reflux. GERD can mimic chest pain and cause symptoms like bloating and heaviness. 2. Gastritis or Peptic Ulcer: Inflammation of the stomach lining can cause bloating, pain, and discomfort. Immediate Steps: 1. Dietary Adjustments: Avoid spicy, fried, fatty, and acidic foods. Eat smaller, frequent meals. Avoid lying down immediately after eating (wait at least 2 hours). 2. Hydration and Antacids: Stay hydrated and consider over-the-counter antacids or proton pump inhibitors (like omeprazole) for symptom relief. 3. Pain Relief: If the pain is unbearable, you can use a mild painkiller like paracetamol. Avoid NSAIDs like ibuprofen as they can aggravate gastric issues. 4. Monitor Symptoms: Keep track of what foods or activities worsen your symptoms. --- When to Seek Medical Help: 1. If chest heaviness persists, worsens, or radiates to your neck, jaw, or arm. 2. If you experience shortness of breath, dizziness, or sweating along with the chest pain. 3. If bloating and heaviness don't improve despite dietary change.
