Dear Sir One of the most common causes of heel pain is overweight and when over weight is the cause of heel pain, the best treatment is weight reduction Generally, Walking for Minimum 45 minutes a day + Strict Diet Control can reduce your blood sugar If you can share your (a) Fasting Glucose (b) Post Prandial Glucose (c) HbA1c (d) Blood Urea (e) Serum Creatinine (f) Lipid Profile reports, I can tailor make the prescription (exercise Schedule + Drugs + Diet Chart) for you Also Mention your (a) Age (b) Weight (c) Height (d) Whether you take Non Vegetarian Food.

There may be many reasons behind the pain in heel. If you feel pain when you put your feet on ground after waking up then it could be Planter Fasciitis. But as according to your question, the pain is very much at night. This may be because of your weight which cause pain on your heel. Have you checked your blood sugar and diabetes? You should consult a therapist who can guide you properly.

Hello... This may be due to plantar fasciitis causing pain in heel after long standing work. Visit to physiotherapy clinic for treatment. At home she can do contrast bath for the heel i.e. Keeping her foot in hot water for 5 min. then in cold water for 1 min. Again hot water (5 min.) , cold water (1 min) and last end with hot water again (5min). Repeat this process for atleast 3 times a day. Also need to do calf muscle streching and strengthening.
