Hair shedding like this after delivery is usually postpartum telogen effluvium. Hormone levels drop sharply after birth, pushing extra hair into the shedding phase together. It typically peaks around 3 to 4 months after delivery and settles within about a year.
Next Steps
Mehendi and egg won't change the hormonal cause and can leave hair drier. A gentle, sulfate-free shampoo and a diet rich in protein, iron and biotin usually help more. Please see a dermatologist or your gynaecologist if shedding is still heavy past a year, or you notice bald patches.
Health Tips
If your periods haven't returned to normal, mention that at the visit.
Thyroid changes after pregnancy can add to hair loss too.
