Safety of Wheezal Eye Bright Eye Drops
Dear Doctor,
I am using Wheezal Eye Bright Eye Drops(image attached) and experience burning/stinging after putting them in my eyes. An ophthalmologist advised me not to use such homeopathic eye drops, saying they may irritate or damage the eyes.
Is this burning normal ? Are these drops safe for long-term use, or can they harm the eyes?
I do not have any eye disease. I use Wheezal Eye Bright Eye Drops only for routine eye care.
Mild stinging or burning after using any eye drop can occur due to sensitivity to the ingredients or preservatives, but persistent burning, redness, irritation, or discomfort should not be ignored. Burning sensation is due to its alcohol content and this sensation is not common for all. Eye bright eye is prescribed rarely for dry eyes and will recommend to stop after 1 week. Commonly NO ALCOHOL eyes drops are also available in the market and you can use it but only for short duration.
You can maintain healthy eyes using homoeopathic constitutional internal medicines.

If your eyes feel dry or tired, use plain lubricating/artificial tear drops (like Refresh Tears or I-Drops) — these are safe and well-studied
No eye drops are needed for "routine care" in healthy eyes
Healthy eyes don't need daily drops. Simply splash clean water, eat well, and rest your eyes from screens,just take proper sleep and that's all you need!
