Root canaled tooth

2018-07-11 18:20:50
My 6 yr old root canaled molar had it's cap moving since a couple of months. On getting the cap removed from a dentist, i discovered the tooth has completely Decayed and there was just food particles below the cap. No tooth. My dentist said, i have to get the remaing part of the tooth removed with a minor surgery. Is this the only way to fix this? Also if i go for this minor surgical procedure, will have some side effects in future like eye sights or anything... I don't have any pain right now. Please help.

Hi sir....     Th mobility of that cap is due to poor fixing of cap which cause  accumalation of food particles underneath and decaying of the crown portion of your teeth....If that remaining crown portion is sufficient,it is possible to do core build up over that with tooth coloured material and then can cap over the teeth like before..if that remaining tooth material is insufficienet,we can go for post and core which is putting a post inside the root and doing core build up in crown portion and then do cap tha teeth like before..putting post inside the root is to strengthen your remaining tooth ..Another option is you can get your teeth extracted and then can fix fixed artificial teeth in that region .....The treatment option is according to your convienience sir....

kindly visit your nearby dentist immediately for futhur consultation
Health Tips
since the cap is mobile, there is a possibility of accidental aspiration of cap into your throat...so visit the dentist as early as possible....

Because tooth is badly damaged dentist might have suggested total extraction. No side effects with minor surgery as your doctor will take all precautions before, during and after surgery. Go ahead and have replacement also. Replacement can be done in same appointment with implant.
