Root canal or not (please check opg )

2024-06-17 15:16:57
Hello Doctor, I have 2 cavities for  left upper teeth. So consulted a dentist and they suggested for root canal for both teeth and not for a filling. Please check the attached opg and suggest me weather to go for root canal treatment or not. Thank you.

First molar requires rct. For Second molar take one more x ray to check the extent of previous filling because in this x ray it seems filling can be done

Hi one tooth definitely needs an rct,, second one( would prefer a smaller X-ray for better visualisation ) if the cavity is arrested and sound tooth structure is available filling can be attempted

Hi, From the OPG shared, looks like you need to undergo Root Canal treatment. Take a X-ray RVG to confirm.
