My doctor advised me to go for root canal is it so painful. After undergoing root canal how many days does pain exists?

No.. Not painful once the local anesthesia is given properly... Usually after root canal, little oain might persisit for 3-4 days which can be taken care of by analgesics...

It will be lesser painful than the pain you must be suffering now . Treatment will be done under local anaesthesia so you won’t feel much pain . After the treatment for couple of days you May feel slight pain on that side that too while chewing .

No it is not painful. The procedure is done under local anesthesia. You might feel little discomfort but no pain. After the root canal is done, you may or may not have very slight pain which can be managed by painkiller.
