The habit was once never there in your life and it's a habit that slowly started. I don't know whether it's guilt or to be more disciplined you are willing to quit watching porn and masturbation. You are now willing to quit it and that by itself is a good decision. Enjoy other activities like going out and being in the company of other people. Whenever you are tempted to do both, start distracting yourself by going out or start an intermittent fasting habit. Add more hobbies in your daily routine.
Next Steps
consult a psychologist on how to stop negative habits
Health Tips
any action has a consequence. watching too much porn may be leading to masturbation. first focus on reducing watching porn by adding more enjoyable non sexual activities in your daily routine.

It's great that you're looking for ways to overcome this addiction. One strategy is to start by exercising control over other habits, like sugar intake or screen time, to build your self-discipline. Delayed gratification can also be helpful. However, seeking support from a therapist can provide you with personalized strategies and accountability to help you quit. Mind Sculpt offers affordable online counseling sessions where you can work through this addiction in a supportive environment.

Hi, Struggling with pornography addiction and excessive masturbation can be challenging, but it's possible to overcome with determination and support. Here's a strategy to help you quit: Start by acknowledging that you want to make a change and that it may not be easy. Set clear and achievable goals for yourself, such as reducing the frequency of pornography use and masturbation gradually. Identify triggers that lead to your urges, whether it's stress, boredom, or specific situations, and develop healthier coping mechanisms to deal with them. This could involve engaging in physical exercise, pursuing hobbies, or spending time with supportive friends and family. Consider seeking professional help from a therapist or counselor who specializes in addiction. They can provide personalized strategies, support, and accountability to help you overcome your addiction. Utilize technology tools such as website blockers or accountability apps to limit your access to pornography and create barriers to impulsive behavior. Practice self-compassion and be patient with yourself throughout this process. Recovery takes time, and setbacks are normal. Focus on progress rather than perfection, and celebrate small victories along the way.
