Pain started 40 days after the rct
Almost a month ago, I had a RCT for one of my teeth, was filled up and a zirconia crown was placed. Now, the pain has started again in the same teeth and is sensitive to water and I can't even eat anything from that side because It starts paining. What shall I do now ? Will the crown be removed again? Or Will I have to buy a new crown if the doctor suggests other RCT. The total procedure costed me around 19k.

Hello sir pain and sensitivity on a RC Treated tooth may be due to failure of RC for which you need to get it checked.if the tooth is reinfected you may have to go for Re RCT. Yes the crown has to be replaced after reRCT.

Pain and sensitivity in a treated tooth is indicative of reinfection of the teeth or some other pathology like fracture of teeth or something. Visit your dentist and get it checked. With proper X-ray he will be able to identify the problem.

Pain and sensitivity clearly indicate the failure of your previous RCT. The crown will have to be removed and your RCT needs to be repeated. The crown may or may not be broken during removal, if not, you can re-use it.
