Health Tips
Notice if your thoughts are making you feel tired or if it is making you feel restless. Notice how your body is feeling while you are overthinking, and any sensations or pain you feel in the body. Also, take a few deep breaths while noticing how you inhale and exhale. Notice your breathing for 3-5 minutes every hour or two and before sleeping too.

One of the reasons we might overthink, is to compensate for feeling at loss with taking action in a situation. There could be other reasons as to why we might overthink. Seeing that it is causing you a lot of distress and affecting your sleep, it would be very helpful to reach out to a psychologist offline or online. They can help us learn skills to regulate our thoughts and emotions. You can look up therapists here on Practo or Therapyroute (or other similar platforms).
