Ovary size concern

Hi, I am 28 year old . I got my Sonography done today for some medical document but it mentioned but in my report i found out that My right Ovary size is 12.9cc and left ovary size is 11.8cc. Radiologist said there is chances of PCOS. I would like to know what is the normal size of ovaries and how problmatic my situation right now.

The size of a normal ovary is about the size of an almond. It is about 5 ml in volume. Your ovary is more than double the size. There is always a possibility of developing PCOS. I suggest you consult a Gynaecologist in your area. Some more investigations will be done and treatment advised. If you are married you should plan for your pregnancy.
