Osteoporosis at 81 is more likely senile osteoporosis and respond better to terriperatide than to bisphosphonate injections. Though the final decision has to be made after a through evaluation eliminating secondary causes of osteoporosis like steroid intake(commonly seen in asthma treatment) etc
