Need re- RCT on 2nd molar?

2023-01-30 12:08:09
I am having a pain in my 2nd molar top left side one. Should I go for 2nd RCT or extraction? Will the RCT be a good option again? The doctor suggested RCT. And what's the re-rct charge in banglore?

Two separate issues - 1 - Trial of ReRCT to save a tooth - definitely recommended in all cases. 2 - looking at second image - natural crown portion left - question in mind comes how we are going to place a dental crown? Key points here - Less height of crown Less crown structure left Even if we save a tooth after a Rollercoaster ride by Endodontist---- it's difficult to say that crown will be staying on such a tooth Better extraction and get denture or implant done... it's a suggestion or personal opinion. Choice is yours.

Health Tips
taking risk and getting rerct here will not create more value... so need to understand limitations.

Yes a re treatment or re rct is a definitely good option in your case followed by a crown on the tooth. The cost for a re rct would be around 5500 to 7000. You must try and save this tooth. Avoid eating from that side to prevent tooth fracture. All the best.

Hello Your tooth definitely needs a re root canal treatment for sure. Its always suggestive to try a re rct once before getting a extraction done for the tooth. Re rct charges varies from place to place and from skills to skills. I will advise to get it done from a good endodontist only who is the person specialising in only root canal treatments. We are available for video consultations just in case you want to discuss more about your problem.

Hello, depending on the diagnosis tooth should either be extracted or re-RCT has to be done. CBCT should be done to decide what is the best option. Thank you.
Next Steps
