Mouth Ulcer

2024-04-17 20:59:19
Since last 15 days , I'm having a mouth ulcer which is not painful like the ulcer I use to have earlier. The ulcer is on my cheek line inside my mouth. I used gels and vitamins tablets for few days but it didn't go. It is in same size which was on day one. I recently went to a physician three days ago, he prescribed me some antibiotics, multivitamin and pain killers by saying that you have tonsillitis and it will go away in a week. And it's been 4 days since I went there. There is no healing or improvement in the ulcer. Should I be worried? Or wait for some more days. Till the full medication course completes? Or should I get the ulcer checked? And to whom should I see? A dentist? A ENT surgeon or specialist? Or an oncologist? Please suggest me

Hello. There are lots of things which are needed to be assessed to come to conclusion about an ulcer. It is best if you visit an Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon who can tell you whether this ulcer is actually serious or will resolve on its own with time.
