Mono/Wisdom teeth

I am getting my wisdom teeth out in 2 days but have had mono for 2 weeks. All symptoms are gone, I’ve been back at work for a week and a half and everything is back to normal. I have been on steroids but I take my last dose tomorrow. My dentist says I need to get them out before I leave for school which is less than a month away... I already called off work for the whole next week so I can heal after my surgery. Do you think I could still get them out if I am careful?

Hello .. An impacted tooth is one which does come to its position in required time and space . So if it hinders in normal function or if pain is seen you have to remove it and one month is enough time for healing and follow all the post extraction instructions carefully.

Yes , it is enough time for healing. However since you have been on steroids, make sure you have a good antibiotic cover during extraction
