I'm a vegan, my parents were concerned about malnutrition. I would like to know about the medical tests to be taken for vegans to stick up with their health so that we can have a peaceful live without worrying about nutrition deficiency.

Hi Being vegan does pose a few nutritional deficiencies and that too it occurs if you do not eat meals on time and you do not take the alternative to milk and milk products( almond milk, soy milk) as you might miss of on one main mineral in the body that is calcium( bones can because me weak osteoporosis) , the other thing is Vitamin B12( cyanocobalamin ) comes from non veg sources. So the tests which might need to be conducted are Serum calcium, vitamin D and vitamin B12. When you consume the alternate vegan milk and take supplement for vitamin B12 I think you should be fine.
