In a young man, a small tender lump directly beneath the nipple is commonly pubertal gynecomastia, but examination is needed to distinguish it from a cyst or other lesion. Do not squeeze it; note tenderness, size and any nipple discharge. Please see a physician if it enlarges, is hard or fixed, one-sided without tenderness, or has discharge; ultrasound and selected hormone tests may be needed. I can examine you through Practo or at Synergy Multispeciality Hospital, Mirajplease book a consultation.
