To understand how did the pain actually started a complete history is required. I would suggest to have a detailed assement done. To understand the root cause of pain. Once the cause identified,it can be treated with a proper rehab program reducing the reoccurance in future.
Health Tips
avoid activities aggravating the pain.

First of all you have to consult a Physiotherapist or orthopaedist for your back pain. It could be due to disc lesion in the lower back.

Hi sir I would suggest you to go for Moist heat for 10-15 min (check on heat burns). Avoid forward bending and lifting heavy weights for a while till your pain subsides. Thank you.

You can apply ice pack or hot compression with diclofenac application, both will help relax muacles and ease the pain. If there is any swelling then consult back.
