Low Vitamin D

My father took a basic health checkup and his Vitamin D came very low 10.52. The normal range for the same is 30 - 100. Is it okay for him to take Vitamin D capsule 60000 once a week if he had a history of kidney Stones

Yes. Taking Vit D3 , 60000 units weekly is safe. With the kind of deficiency which your father has, he can safely take weekly dose of 60000 units for 8-10 weeks. After that he should get his Vit D levels checked and if normal, he should come to maintenance dose.
