Absence of pain does not always indicate absence of disease. If there is a cavity, it will require objective treatment by the dentist whether it is a simple filling or root canal treatment or even extraction in the worst case. Please do not wait for the symptoms to appear (all the presence of swelling is also a worrisome symptom) and consult a dentist as soon as possible so that the right diagnosis can be established. The right treatment plan can be suggested after the right diagnosis.
Regards.
