Hi doctor,
I Have lower back pain from 6 months and consulted doctor and told me to have MRI.
I got it done.
MRI impressions are below, just before going to him I need to take consultation in practo as I am tensed a bit.
Sacralization of the fifth lumbar vertebra
L4 L5 disc annular bulge with super added shallow broad based centric protrusion, causing thecal compression
Saggital t2 weighted screening of the whole spine otherwise c4-5 c5-6 c6-c7;disc protusions, variably impressing the anterior thecal segment
Please suggest me for this problem
Sacralisation of lumbar vertebrae is not an abnormal sign. It’s an incidental finding on MRI. It doesn’t cause any sort of problems of disc herniation due to this. But you have disc problem also which was mentioned in the report. Need to clinical examination n decide whether it will managed medically or surgically
