Knee swelling

2025-07-27 09:04:43
I’ve had rheumatoid arthritis for 14 years and have managed to live fairly normally by avoiding certain foods and exercising daily. I only took HCQS medication about 5–7 years ago. I want to ask—can I visit an ER for knee swelling? I’m looking for quick relief. I want some kind of injection for my swelling.

ER is not a right place to visit, unless you have severe pain and swelling with fever warmth etc.Do consult a orthopedist,as you may need xray of the affected knee to rule out number of reasons.
