My mother has been diagnosed with Rheumatoid Arthritis 5 to 6 years ago and has been on the following medications:
Methotrexate 2.5,
HCQS 200,
Modlip ASG 75,
Predmet 4mg
On advice of our family doctor, we stopped Predmet 2 months ago. Recently she started complaining of joint pains and swelling in her feet. Our doctor had asked us to again give her Predmet. After giving it, her pain had subsided. My question is, should she be given this steroid forever or is there an alternative?
Thank you.
