Kidney Stone Treatment

Good Morning Sir, There is an issue with my sister of kidney stone. She has 6-8 number of stones in her both kidneys Out of which bigger one is of size 20mm And others are average sized 2-7mm . I have her Ultrasound Report too If You want to see I can Share the report with You. And Now I just want to know what should I do Should I go for operation or Is it still possible to remove them by medication treatment. Please Answer me accordingly sir It's a humble request to you that please do not provide wrong hope to me if it is not possible by medicine treatment then please tell me the truth that whether I should go for surgery or not. It would be a good help for me.

Hello, as you are mentioning that you have a sister , with multiple stone locations in kidneys One stone is of 20mm for that eswl treatment with dj stenting is needed , however I need usg report and cect abdomen report to say the specific surgery plan Stone size less than 5 mm can be treated medically In your case , it can not be treated medically

You didn't mention the age of your sister. You didn't mention how long she has been having this problem, any previous ultrasound report, are these stones becoming bigger in size, increase in number. Any effect on the kidney function. Please consult a Urologist with complete details.
