It is ok to drink water in between meals as small sips to help with swallowing But it is better to avoid drinking plenty of water close to meals as it may dilute digestive enzymes
Next Steps
have a small sip of water before eating to help with swallowing
Health Tips
if u are unable to swallow food without drinking water, then we will have to rule out causes of dry mouth but if this is just a mild issue, then there is nothing to worry

Some water is ok...but don't drink plenty of water immediately after having food...it dilute the digestive juices secretion and hinder proper digestion
