Hi
What you’re experiencing is very common in anxiety and is not dangerous or a sign of losing your mind. When anxiety is high, the brain throws random words or short thoughts that suddenly interrupt your focus, then disappear quickly, and because your attention gets shaken, you forget them immediately and feel confused. During that moment, your brain is busy reacting to the interruption, so even though you can hear or read, you don’t fully understand what’s being said, and conversations or TV feel overlapping or unclear. Trying hard to catch the thought, write it down, or check what just happened actually keeps the problem alive because it tells the brain this interruption is important. With therapy, this loop can be broken and your concentration and confidence return gradually. Take therapy. You can connect with me on nine two six six seven two six zero six five.
