Hi there. The combination of cyclical premenstrual flares, nocturnal anxiety, loose stools, and systemic fatigue/cramps indicates significant gut-brain axis dysregulation alongside possible malabsorption.   In suspected SIBO, random probiotics and yogurt can paradoxically trigger more bloating and fermentation. The cramps and dizziness also suggest electrolyte or micronutrient depletion (such as B12, ferritin, or magnesium) from 1.5 years of gut distress and dietary restrictions.   A targeted Hydrogen/Methane Breath Test for SIBO, stool parasite evaluation, and a full nutritional panel are the ideal next steps.   To outline a step-by-step diagnostic plan and prescribe an effective gut-calming regimen, feel free to book a direct consultation with me on Practo, or message directly on WhatsApp at six three six nine four six zero five seven seven.

* Symptoms can fit IBS, often worsened by certain foods, stress and hormonal changes. * SIBO, parasitic infection and celiac disease can mimic IBS and should be considered based on history. * Probiotics may help some patients but do not guarantee a cure.
Next Steps
* Consider CBC, TSH and celiac screening; stool examination/parasite testing or SIBO breath test if clinically indicated. * For bloating: Simethicone 80–125 mg after meals and at bedtime as needed. * Avoid starting antibiotics/rifaximin without confirming the indication. * Probiotic trial may be considered for 2–4 weeks.
Health Tips
* Maintain a food, symptom and menstrual diary; avoid unnecessarily restricting multiple food groups. * Seek evaluation for blood in stool, unexplained weight loss, fever or persistent night-time diarrhoea. * Since symptoms have persisted for 1.5 years, a physician/gastroenterology review is appropriate. Contact me anytime on Practo for further consultation.

Your pattern can fit IBS with gut sensitivity to foods, stress and hormonal changes, but IBS should be diagnosed after checking for other causes. Probiotics help some people but are not a guaranteed cure, and you should not start antibiotics on your own. Avoiding several food groups without guidance can itself cause nutritional deficiency.
Next Steps
Arrange a physician review for CBC, thyroid and coeliac testing; stool or SIBO/parasite tests depend on your history. Keep a symptom, food and period diary. Seek care for blood in stool, weight loss, fever or persistent night-time diarrhoea; book a personalised consultation on Practo.
