Hi, I understand your concern. When a person repeatedly engages in a behaviour even when they don't actually feel sexual desire and feels unable to control it, it can be helpful to explore the compulsive pattern behind the behaviour, rather than focusing only on masturbation itself.
As a Counselling Psychologist, I would recommend a proper assessment to understand the triggers, thoughts, emotions, habits, and situations associated with the behaviour. It may be related to stress, anxiety, emotional regulation, habit/conditioning, compulsive patterns, or other factors, so it is important not to self-diagnose.
