Cavities are formed because of a multitude of factors that ranges from basic lifestyle and eating patterns to genetics
There is no one thing that can prevent cavities
However a few things you can do is
1) rinse your mouth after every meal especially after eating sticky food
2) make sure no food remnants are there in the mouth after any meals
3) brush twice a day
4) avoid regular consumption of sweets, carbonated drinks , alcoholic beverages
5) minimise smoking if you have that habit
6 most importantly if you notice even a small cavity get it filled immediately so you don’t have to undergo root canal procedure
7) get a regular dental check up atleast one a year to ensure there are no new cavities
This saves your time , money and will ensure the best of your health.
