How do I calm my anxiety

2024-01-13 06:31:30
I had social anxiety and stage fear before. I try to avoid meeting people as much as I can but as a musician I have to meet people and communicate with them too but it triggers my anxiety. My heart rate rises, and hands start to shake too and brain fog sometimes. I don't want to take any pills. Just something else to calm everything down. Thank you

Hi. You don't have to take pills. You can get better through cognitive behavior therapy. Social anxiety is rooted in fear. Fear of embarrassment. Fear of being ridiculed. Fear of not putting up with people. So the cause we have to address that once the root cause is addressed you. It will be better able to deal with the anxiety and finally eliminate it. You can get in touch with me for therapy sessions. All the best.

If you are having stigma to take effective pills for social anxiety you have no other option by to try relaxation techniques and CBT for the same. Consult a psychiatrist or RCI certified clinical psychologist who practises the same for remedy. Good luck.
