Hi. Considering your pregnancy, it is not advised for you to undergo any dental treatment that requires you to take medicine. It is better for you to take paracetamol as a painkiller till your pregnancy is over and seek dental treatment after that. If at all the pain is severe and you need dental treatment before, kindly discuss with your dentist which medicines if any are safe to take.

Third trimester is cautious for dental treatment, but if you had severe pain then management of pain is very essential. Sometimes its cause are gingivitis due to irregular food intake, hygiene issue and harmonal changes. In this condition oral prophylaxis give better relief. In Impacted wisdom teeth pericoronitis (gums swelling) is the cause of pain; in this condition, curettage and irrigation if required then removal. Sometimes deep caries is the cause of pain, in this condition root canal treatment or tooth removal is the treatment plan. All of above mentioned condition sometimes required medicines but take only safer in pregnancy.
