Grade 2 acl strain with increased thick

I had an accident 6 months before and got injury in left knee. Pain while walking, standing for few minutes, unable to fully straighten my leg, even inflammation in knee while sitting or lying on bed. I went for physiotherapy for 1 month. Nothing worked. After MRI scan, the report says " Grade-II strain ACL with increased thickness & PD-FS signal intensity of its inferior fibres". Sir, what does this report mean ?? Will this be recovered completely by doing Physiotherapy or it needs surgery ??

Grade 2 ACL sprain does not require surgery usually. Do you have any instability while walking. It would be better to get clinically examined to understand the situation.  The treatment can be planned accordingly
