A sudden episode of severe dizziness with sweating needs proper clinical evaluation. A normal BP reading of 120/75 does not by itself rule out causes such as an inner-ear problem, dehydration/orthostatic hypotension, low blood sugar, heart-related problems or neurological conditions. The persistent severe knee pain may be a separate issue and should also be assessed. Next Steps Please get evaluated by a doctor today, particularly if the dizziness is still severe or recurrent. Blood pressure and pulse should be checked lying and standing, along with blood glucose and a neurological and cardiovascular examination. Further tests such as ECG or other investigations may be advised depending on the examination.

Your condition warrants an in person examination at the earliest. Get your Blood sugar checked. Knee pain is not related to the dizziness according to the limited history. Posture changes can cause BP changes for small periods of time. Please provide history of previous or present medications on Practo app… because some medications can also cause dizziness on getting up.

Because the giddiness is persistent and associated with sweating, please do not ignore it. Sit or lie down, avoid driving or bathing alone, hydrate and check blood glucose if you have a glucometer. You need same-day in-person assessment for postural BP, blood sugar, ECG and basic blood tests; the knee pain should also be examined. Go to emergency now if you faint, develop chest pain, breathlessness, one-sided weakness, slurred speech or severe headache. You may book an urgent Practo consult or visit Synergy Multispeciality Hospital, Miraj.

Giddiness with sweating can still happen even when your BP reading looks normal, since a single reading can miss a postural drop. Causes can include inner ear issues or blood sugar dips too.
Next Steps
Please get this checked in person, especially since it continued through the day and you also have ongoing knee pain.
Health Tips
Your knee pain is a separate issue and may need an orthopaedic opinion alongside the giddiness workup.
