Was the medication prescribed by a psychiatrist? Is your son taking the medication by morning or night? Flunil can initially worsen anxiety before improving the same. You need to consult your psychiatrist again or get a second opinion from another psychiatrist online. Good luck.

Fluoxetine(Flunil) may cause sleep disturbance if taken at night. It may also cause anxiety in the first few weeks of starting , which decreases gradually. If it You should consult the treating Psychiatrist for any change of medicine.
