Foods to lower cholesterol

I have high cholesterol but I don't have diabetes. What kind of diet is good for me? Please suggest me some cholesterol lowering foods. I need to lower it quickly as my doctor said. Also my weight is 78 kg and my height is only 4'9 so my weight is too much for my height. I also want to reduce weight. My doctor said I need to be at least 49 to 50 kg.

Take home cooked meals comprising all nutrients macros and micros. Take good fats, carbs n protein. Limit all processed preserved packaged and outside food completely. Stop hard drinks and smoking if any. Take good water intake of atleast 3-4 lit a day. Alongwith the dietary changes, lifestyle modifications must be done like Physical activity for atleast 1 hour, time discipline should be fixed for all meals and other activities. Reduce your weight cholesterol will reduce. Add  high fiber food like fruits, vegetables juice, soup, salad and sprouts in your diet. After dinner take cinnamon green tea.
