Fillings in tooth
Need help in making a decision. Went for a teeth cleaning( he didnt clean the surface of the molars properly) and dr. said that I need filling on 2 first upper molars. He suggested I do Xray for wisdom tooth impaction. The Xray showed an impacted wisdom tooth which I removed a week later. But in the Xray no molar cavity was found yet on my tooth I could see black spots with no sensitivity at all.
Should I go for filling(if yes then what kind amalgam/composite)as the dentist suggested or should I wait since the cavity is small and chances are there to remineralise it?

That is coz of third molar..and its inside bone..it has to be extracted as it is the main reason for pain..and it's not visible as it is inside your bone..

You should get dental restorations done. Amalgam fillings are the best restorative solutions available! These fillings though black in colour offer best physical properties compared to composite. If you are more aesthetically concerned go in for composite else amalgam fillings serve better.
As seen in the OPG attached, no wisdom tooth has been extracted

Hi,
The discoloration you see on the tooth surface are fissure stains, which are deep and cannot be removes. Nothing to worry.
In the X-ray, no cavity is seen. Clinical examination may show a small cavity which requires filling. You can undergo Composite filling.
