* Fever for 1 day can occur with a viral infection or other acute infections. Diet does not need to be restricted solely because of fever. * Rice or roti are both acceptable if tolerated
Health Tips
* Take small, frequent meals according to appetite—rice/khichdi, roti, dal, vegetables, fruits and other easily tolerated foods. * Drink plenty of fluids; increase intake during fever to prevent dehydration Contact me anytime on practo for further consultation

During fever, you may eat either rice or roti—choose light, easily digestible food as tolerated. Small frequent meals are fine, and keep yourself well hydrated.
Next Steps
Check your temperature and continue only the prescribed medicine. If fever persists beyond 48–72 hours, becomes high, or you develop breathing difficulty, confusion, rash, or severe weakness, consult a doctor. You may book a Practo consult with me if needed.
