You should wait for the next 8 hours before repeating Paracetamol. You can give cold sponging to the patient in the meantime.

Hello, i have noted your concern, The maximum dose of paracetamol per day, in 24hours is 4000mg, if you exceed more than 4000mg, patient might develop toxicity, but at home we generally do not even give near to 3000mg But it also depends on the patient body weight and clinical condition of the patient
Next Steps
Kindly consult And provide detail history for further treatment and management Do not self medicate the patient
Health Tips
If patient is young adult age is more than 50 you can give dolo 650mg every 6th hourly in 24hrs that means 4times a day, if fever still persists, then do cold sponging.
