I had femoral neck surgery 2 years ago..Last month I got the rod removed...I was able to walk after rod removal...but since 1 week I am not able to walk and my bone is paining a lot...what could be the reason for this?

I would need to see all your Xrays to be able to comment. The xray before the first surgery, after the first surgery and the one after the second surgery. Also, please get a fresh Xray now for us to be able to know what the current situation of your hip is.

Was the femoral neck surgery for a fracture? If you're unable to walk, fresh X-rays of both hips are required. Maybe a MRI too. Please post the X-rays so I can give proper advice.

Union issues in neck or may be refeacture. Get a xray 1st , then may be a MRI depending on xray status.

get an xray done to rule out any abnormality , avoid doing heavy work or walking as of now.
