Hi :)
I am so glad that you have decided to reach out and seek help. We hear you, and you are not alone.
What you are describing are symptoms of a possible anxiety disorder. There's good news, anxiety disorders are definitely treatable!
From the information you have given, it is unclear what you are taking the medication for. If the medicines are for anxiety, that is to help you with the fear you experience, then I would recommend speaking to your doctor again as they do not seem to be helping.
Do seek psychotherapy treatment as it will help you greatly. As you fear going outside your home, you could seek sessions online. Hopefully, with time as you heal, you should be able to go meet a therapist in-person too! You could seek the support of those whom you trust. Perhaps, your parents or wife could go with you.
I hope you feel better soon!
Next Steps
Kindly consult a Pulmonologist regarding the problems you are having with breathing.
I would certainly recommend a first, or second opinion with a verified Psychiatrist, many of whom are available on Practo. You may also seek the opinion of a Clinical Psychologist, whichever is a more feasible option for you.
Health Tips
If you do have an anxiety disorder, then medication along with psychotherapy is the best treatment plan for you. None of these will be effective alone. However, the first step would be to get a confirmed diagnosis of a disorder from a professional Psychiatrist or Clinical Psychologist.
