Dry cough and cold
My mother who is a diabetic, is having dry cough but its occasional. She also has bit cold. Pls suggest some syrup or tablets to help her. She is 69 years old. No other symptoms. She travelled from very hot weather to a cooler temp environment recently.

Tab monteleukast 10mg one daily for 7 days
Steam inhalation with karvol capsule 2 times daily.
Tab vitamin c, 500mg one every morning and evening for 10 days.
