Dog scratch

2024-03-25 08:47:22
A street dog has scratches on my feet which are not visible at that time. After consulting a Dr I have taken the first dose of rabbies vaccine(ARV) but swelling can be seen at the place of bite. Is there anything to worry. I have already taken the first dose of vaccine and will take the second dose tomorrow.

Continue full course of Anti-rabies vaccination. Mild swelling is of no concern, But if excessive swelling, oozing is present, the wound (scratched area) might be infected, you might need antibiotics in that case. Consult Physician near you, for better assessment.
