If a person has been consuming excessive calories for the past 1 year (2500-3000+) due to binge eating disorder. Now in order to lose weight should they immediately follow a calorie deficit diet (between 1200-1600)? Also since the body is used to excessive calories, trying to cut down or be in deficit even for a day leads to irritability, weakness and depressed mood. Height- 5.6 Weight- 77-78 Age- 27/female Recently diagnosed hypothyroidism TSH- 6.2
