Im an auto immune disease patient with very less salivation , my dentist restored my teeth from root canal. As mere brushing is not helping im doing oil pulling, saline gargles, tongue cleaning everyday is all these if done everyday harmful?! Shall I practice oil pulling, saline gargles alternate days? Please help

You can continue with warm saline rinses. Include a lot of citrus fruits in your diet.

As you are already undergoing RCT. It would be better to discuss with them . As they already know your dental health in detail. In general oil pulling,  warm salt water gargles etc are beneficial. But anything in excess is bad . There are some salivary stimulants  . Ask your dentist for recommendation. Avoid self treatment.  Hope this helped

Hi, For dry mouth, Use Wet mouth. This will increase your salivation and will improve your oral hygiene. Brushing followed by Tongue cleaning twice a day is very important to maintain a good oral hygiene. Oil pulling and saline gargle is a temporary remedy. You need to get a full check up done to find the cause of dry mouth. Eat a lot of citrus fruits.
